Its
not very often in Sheffield clubbing that demand out-strips supply. But
ever since Urban Gorilla played its 'last' record on New Years Eve
2008, the UG faithful have turned out in their droves to the few
intimate parties that the city's best loved night has staged.

We
had so much fun at the UG Reunion at the Earl we decided we had to do
another event! However this time we're making use of the fantastic
outdoor area! Music & BBQ outside from 7pm - 11pm. Then the mayhem
will continue through till 2am inside. Do not miss this!
FREE ENTRY before 9pm. £3 after.
Here's a little trip down UG memory lane for you. We've compiled a list of what we think is every single UG night ever. There may be a few mistakes and omissions, but in general it's pretty much complete. So here it is, about 250 events spanning over 7 years. Which ones did you witness? Don't forget to discuss this and share your memories on the forum.

If you haven't heard already, Urban Gorilla is ending. The final UG will be our
NYE celebration Upstairs @ DQ. I've been asked to write a goodbye
blurb, but in the end, it's just going to be a list of thankyous. Sorry
if you feel that's indulgent, but we wanted to recognise some of the
people who've made the night what it is, including:
Friday 28th November @ The Plug (Neutral)
THE LAST UG @ PLUG (and the penultimate ever UG)
Paul Daley (Leftfield) Juan MacLean (DFA) (Myspace) - DJ set with Live Acid Performance Jonny Townsend
Adam Connal
Alan Chapman 10.30pm - 5am @ Plug (Neutral)
When I first wrote this blurb it looked like this was going to be an amazing, unmissable night. However, it has since emerged, with the surprise announcement of UG's imminent closure that this is going to be the LAST UG @ PLUG EVER! making it approximately 38 times more unmissable than it was before. In fact, you'd best just go and get your ticket now. Quick.
For anyone who's still here, here's what I wrote in the first place...
