Although why is it called a Tyrant mix when it's just Craig Richards?

Recieved today. Half way through the first CD.
It hasn't really jumped out at me yet. So far there's only been one track that I've thought wow, that's really good.
When I heard Burridge wasn't involved I became sceptical. Let us know your final verdict.

Have heard the first cd and frankly it's rubbish. Hate to say it, but Burridge IS Tyrant. Whereas Craig Richards is a strange little man who samples phonecalls with his dad.

Fucking hell. Well CD one plods along throughout in a very Craig Richards: Fabric 01 type way, little bit dull, very trippy, obviously desinged to be listened to in Room 1 at 6am on a Sunday.
But then, fuck me, right at the end of the first CD when you're starting to get a little tired he racks out a few beauties, starting with the villabobos remix, and peaking with Morane- 'The Trick', which is a fucking ACE tune, and something I'd love to get hold of and play myself.
Pleasantly suprised. Right, on to CD 2 :egypt1:

Actually I think I've been a bit unfair. The track at 18:00 on cd1 is absolutely wicked and one I've heard at Fabric loads. And the last 10 minutes is ace.
But to be honest I just think this music sounds MUCH better on the Fabric system, it sounds quite boring without that really deep bass. Lee Burridge goes for much more entertaining tunes on his cds...

Totally agree. His Nu Breed one was ace and had tunes that really make you wanna dance- there's only a few that gave me that feeling on the first of these CDs..

Let me know what the second's like - I haven't bothered putting it on yet...

Pretty dull. More downtempo than the first, which is strange because I was thoroughly expecting it to be a bit more 'up' than the first one. Nevermind.
